Explore original equipment manufacturer profiles and baseline pricing models for commercial projection deployments.
An in-depth perspective on the technical progress, light path improvements, and smart hardware design driving modern optical solutions.
The projector landscape is undergoing a significant shift. "Projector Entertainment 2" represents this change, moving away from simple single-panel LCD units to modern, multi-frequency optoelectronic engines. Today's commercial and home environments demand high luminescent flux efficiency, smart keystone configuration, and reliable thermal management systems. For global distributors, system integrators, and retail brands, choosing how to partner with a projector factory is no longer just about looking at price lists. It requires a deep understanding of the manufacturing process, design engineering, and supply chain logistics.
In modern projection architecture, structural design controls optical performance. Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS), Digital Light Processing (DLP), and High-Transmittance Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD) require specific thermal management designs to maintain color accuracy and prevent polarizing film degradation. A high-brightness 180-inch commercial project must control both thermal output and fan noise. This balance is achieved through custom heat pipe assemblies and low-decibel cooling systems developed in specialized production facilities.
Furthermore, the integration of smart OS layers (such as Google TV, customized Android versions, and specialized educational software) requires software-hardware co-design. When sourcing from factories, businesses must verify their ability to provide custom firmware, write HDCP keys, and design remote management systems. These technical capabilities are what separate simple assembly lines from comprehensive manufacturing companies.
We provide deep ROM modifications, tailored Android launchers, custom EDID handshake protocols, and direct integration with enterprise MDM frameworks.
Our optical designs utilize high-transmittance coated glass lenses and sealed light engines to prevent dust ingress and eliminate dark spots.
All production lines comply with CE, FCC, RoHS, and CCC standards. This guarantees import compliance for major target markets globally.
Youxi (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd., founded in April 2021, specializes in the research and development, manufacturing, and integration of intelligent projection systems and wearable smart devices. Our company maintains end-to-end capabilities across the product lifecycle—from R&D and precision assembly to quality assurance—ensuring full compliance with international standards at every stage, from raw material procurement to finished product delivery. Committed to sustainable operations, Youxi integrates energy-efficient design, eco-conscious material selection, and waste-reduction practices into our business model, contributing meaningfully to green manufacturing initiatives.
Headquartered in Shenzhen—a leading innovation hub in Southern China—the company benefits from strategic proximity to the Hong Kong Port, with a travel time of approximately 40 minutes. To support scalable production, Youxi operates a dedicated assembly facility spanning approximately 1,000 square meters in Fenggang Town, Dongguan City (a 25-minute drive from headquarters). Which currently employs around 100 professionals and maintains a monthly production capacity exceeding 30,000 units. Its robust quality management system, certified supply chain, and vertically integrated operational framework ensure consistent product reliability and timely delivery.
Youxi offers comprehensive service solutions, including branded product development, OEM/ODM customization, and material-specified manufacturing (MSM). We also actively pursue strategic partnerships through authorized distribution and joint venture models. Prospective partners and clients are welcome to contact us at any time for technical consultation, collaboration proposals, or commercial inquiries.
A detailed look at our quality assurance protocols, cleanroom environments, and diagnostic testing systems.
The mold and injection molding workshop is located next to our factory, equipped with sophisticated digital machines above conventional market standards to ensure a good foundation for each product. By using high-precision molds, we maintain tight tolerances on the projector chassis, preventing light leakage and ensuring optical components remain aligned over time.
Covering an area of 4000 square meters. The factory is equipped with production, injection molding, assembly, and testing workshops with large volume. After the recent large-scale adjustment and screening, there are about more than 100 qualified assembly workers which are reasonably distributed in different departments and all with good professional & ethical quality.
Modern workshop for production and assembly, we introduce the most advanced manufacturing equipment, CNC machines, high-end test instruments. In order to meet our clients' different requirements, we set the workshops based on 5S standard dust-free available for every unit of product, our monthly production and assembly capacity is up to 50000 units!
In order to ensure the performance of each machine, it is more possible to control the after-sale defect rate for customers, we have equipped two groups of test rooms, a total of 12 test rooms, by professional and senior quality inspectors to test the incoming material, the first inspection after finishing assembly, and sample inspection before shipment. Optical parameters like ANSI lumen output, chromaticity coordinates, and keystone accuracy are fully checked during this stage.
The aging test room is next to the functional test room in order to improve work efficiency and reduce work errors, and can allow at least 200 machines for aging test at the same time. Each unit is run continuously under load to identify early component failures before final packaging, ensuring high reliability in the field.
Warehouse covering a 300 square meters area for the finished products next to packaging line. The facility uses temperature and humidity controls to protect ready-to-ship products from moisture and dust, ensuring they remain in peak condition until delivery.
Understanding the localized structural advantages that make China the hub of global optoelectronic manufacturing.
The concentration of smart projection manufacturing in the Shenzhen-Dongguan corridor is built on a mature regional supply chain. With our R&D and executive offices in Shenzhen and assembly plants in Fenggang Town, Dongguan, Youxi integrates product design with mass production. This regional setup offers major benefits: sourcing electrical components, raw optical lenses, and specialized driver boards takes hours rather than weeks.
Proximity to key shipping infrastructure like the Hong Kong Port (40 minutes from headquarters) reduces transit times for international freight, simplifies customs procedures, and cuts container shipping costs. For international enterprise buyers, this logistics structure ensures predictable delivery schedules for both high-volume orders and time-sensitive product launches.
B2B projector procurement varies based on target markets and intended uses. We offer three primary manufacturing models designed for these varying needs:
The industry is moving quickly toward hybrid optical configurations. Key trends driving the next generation of smart projectors include:
Expert answers addressing the key procurement challenges, engineering standards, and logistics workflows faced by B2B buyers.
We assemble all optical engines in class-10,000 dust-free cleanrooms, with critical optical components handled under class-1,000 laminar flow benches. This setup prevents dust particles from settling on the LCD panels or DLP DMD chips, which can cause dark spots and reduce image clarity over time.
For basic OEM branding (like custom boot logos and outer packaging), our MOQ starts at 500 units. For deeper firmware modifications, custom Android system layers, or specific hardware changes, the MOQ typically starts at 1,000 units, depending on the complexity of the project.
Every unit undergoes continuous thermal stress and burn-in testing for 2 to 4 hours in our aging test rooms. We monitor thermal output using infrared sensors to ensure the heat dissipation system keeps junction temperatures below safe thresholds, protecting the light source and optical components.
We work with international testing agencies like TÜV, SGS, and Intertek. We can supply complete CE, FCC, RoHS, and CCC test reports for our standard configurations, and we support clients in obtaining country-specific certifications (such as KC, PSE, or BIS) for custom orders.
Standard OEM orders typically ship within 25 to 30 days after sample approval and deposit payment. For custom ODM projects requiring new tooling or custom PCBs, the initial phase takes 60 to 90 days, followed by a regular 30-day production cycle for subsequent runs.
